Thanks to your post I realized I hadn't given any thought yet to Christmas. I've just put myself on a strict budget for the next year due to purchasing a retirement home on PEI (4 years before I retire) and hadn't included anything for gifts. Luckily I had $80 leftover in my budget at the end of Sept. so I immediately set up a gift account with ING Direct and put the $80 in it. It isn't much but it's a start.
